Hoskinson Orthodontics believes in creating beautiful and healthy smiles for each one of their patients that walks into the Scotia, New York office. Our office is a welcoming environment where our Doctor and his staff are committed to providing the most efficient and effective care possible. While your time in braces is a very important portion of the orthodontic process, Dr. Hoskinson wants to make sure each patient is wearing their retainers after treatment.
This vital portion of the orthodontic process begins as soon as your braces are removed. Dr. Hoskinson and his staff at this point have worked hard to give you the smile you have always wanted, the rest is up to you! Your final orthodontic result will depend on how often you wear your retainer. Dr. Hoskinson and his staff encourage you to follow directions on how often to wear your retainer after your braces have been removed.
Be sure to take good care of your retainers during the retention process, as there may be a charge for lost or broken retainers. Dr. Hoskinson will evaluate you after braces are removed for the first 24 months; however, after that time you are always welcome back for retention evaluation.
We encourage you to browse the remainder of our website for more information on all our practice has to offer. If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to contact our Scotia office. We are always happy to answer any questions that you may have about our practices or any of the treatments we offer. We hope to see you in our office soon!
This is a SPECIAL ALERT:
The NYS Dental Association has closely monitored all developments with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
As we are aware the COVID-19 situation in New York is one of the most serious in the nation. At this time it is highly recommended that dental offices only provide emergency care for our patients; and close for a minimum of 3 weeks. As a professional office we want to be responsible and slow the spread of COVID-19. We will follow this urgent recommendation- the office will be closed for patient care starting Wednesday 3/18/2020. As of now the office plans to tentatively reopen 4/13/2020. Dr. Hoskinson will be available to see emergency patients – a patient experiencing discomfort. The office will reach out to our patients and reschedule all appointments once we know an exact date for reopening.
This is an extremely fluid, unprecedented event in our country. We are being faced with many unknowns and personal challenges at this time.
Happy & Healthy Wishes to all,
